Galian Home Trip to Liberty, KY

June 2011 CI-HOP took a trip to see the great work of the Galilean Home near Liberty KY about 1 and half hours from Wilmore. It is an amazing place. They care for babies that ladies in prison have until the moms can care for them. They also care for disabled adults, and children who do not have someone to take care of them. It is a beautiful campus, with lots of handcrafted furniture. They love the ones they take care of and do it very well. Bless the Galilean Home as they love people and God.

ps The bread of life cafe (which is operated and run by Galilean Home) is sooo good - highly recommend.That's us after lunch:) below

I'm working on FUNd RAISING... I want to put the FUN in raising funds. So hope this works. I am working on writing, drawing, t-shirting, carding encouraging things. This is the place where you can get them. The profits (whatever not used in the making or mailing of these items) will go to missions (my own personal living expenses and/or ministry projects like Bibles for Jail, etc...)
Hopefully it will be a fun and productive way to encourage and raise FUNds :)
So if you are looking to be encouraged and help missions check out this blog...

Just wanted to say "Hi!" I am going to try to do a better job of this blogging thing - it seems like a good way to stay in touch with folks - I just need to update it more regularly :)
Here at work we are getting ready to welcome in the holidays with some days off for Thanksgiving and maybe a little Black Friday excitement. Our prayer room will be closed until Thursday 11-25-10 Monday 11-29-10.
On a personal note my great nephews and i got to go bowling with some of our favorite people the other day - they really enoyed it :)
We are going to try to build some bird feeders this weekend and "consider the birds" like the Bible says and "how much more will God take care of us." Plus it is a good excuse to hammer:) Ok thanks for your patience as i work on the ol' blogging skills - bless you today to know that God loves you so much.

The first step is to admit it - so here i go - i am a bad blogger - i apologize for the lack of postings. I will work on this:)
Life is going good here at CornerStone - we have started a 3 month Cross-Training - with a new lady going to the Sudan. July we will have our Summit - a conference where our people come to Wilmore and hopefully get encouraged and refreshed and re-fired-up. In August of this year we will be taking a team to an amazing place in Shell, Ecuador- that cares for abandoned and handicapped kids, 60+ kids. So it is busy and good here - we continue to worship and pray daily here at the House of Prayer-
We are wanting to pursue- loving and enjoying God all the days of our lives, and through God loving and enjoying and serving people. Thank you for your interest in me and CornerStone. Bless you to know more and more everyday that Jesus really loves you so much. He is the best treasure that could ever find you:)
